Fryelands & Main Sidewalk Project

The City of Monroe received a grant from the Transportation Improvement Board to design a new sidewalk and improved stormwater utility at the southeast corner of Fryelands and Main. This Project will be installing approximately 380 feet of new sidewalk, curb, gutter and planter strip. It will also be constructing approximately 380 feet of new stormwater pipe to replace the existing ditchline. The project has been identified to be constructed in summer of 2026 and the Design and Construction team will be doing an in-house design of the project during the Summer/Fall of 2025.
