Picnic Shelter ReservationsCivicRec Coming Soon

Starting Monday, August 15th users will be able to reserve picnic shelters online through CivicRec, the city’s new shelter reservation software. 

Browse available shelters, create an account, make a reservation, and pay, all within a few easy steps. Print your receipt and save your account information for future reservations. The shelters are reserved in 4-hour time blocks which include: 8:30am-12:30pm, 1:00pm-5:00pm and 5:30pm-9:30pm, users can reserve one block or up to three for the full day. The city’s picnic shelters vary in size and shape per location and amenities vary, but can include a charcoal BBQ, picnic tables, electricity, and water access, all perfect for your next celebration. Browse CivicRec starting August 15th to view which shelter best fits your celebration, and start planning your next reunion, BBQ, or birthday party.

Athletic Field & Open Space Reservations 

If you are interested in reserving a field at one of our parks, please contact our Parks & Recreation Administrative Assistant at 360-863-4559 to check for availability, and to reserve. If available, you must fill out an ballfields application (PDF).

Special Event 

Are you interested in hosting a Special Event at a city park, or unsure if your field, park, or picnic shelter reservation qualifies as a special event? A special event is defined as any kind of activity that is out of the norm for activities typically occurring in the area where the event is proposed to take place, or an activity that may impact public places, areas, or facilities. Examples of these activities may include food trucks, bouncy houses, dunk tanks, demonstrations, musical performances, road closure and/or detours to name a few.
