The City of Monroe is currently seeking applicants to fill vacant positions on City Boards, Commissions, and Committees:

Work with others who care about the community to shape Monroe’s future! Serving on a City advisory board, commission, or committee is an opportunity to share your insights and support the needs, priorities, and values of our community. 

Vacancies on City boards and commissions typically occur at the end of each calendar year but may occur due to a resignation, leaving a term unfilled. To learn more about a board that interests you, see the listing to the left. Before applying, be sure that you can commit to regular meetings, complete required training, and be able to participate in community events. Monroe’s appointed representatives are compassionate and thoughtful in the work they do and committed to Monroe’s Vision Statement.

APPLICATION FORM

To apply, you’ll need to complete an application and submit it to the City Clerk’s Office via email or by mail or hand-delivery to City Hall, 14841 179th Ave. SE, Suite 320, Monroe, WA 98272. Per Monroe Municipal Code, the Mayor interviews candidates and makes most of the appointments with City Council confirmation.
