Welcome to the City of Monroe, WA Human Resources Department webpage. Our department staff support nine departments in their recruitment, hiring, and labor relations efforts to bring on qualified employees to join our highly productive, customer-focused municipal services organization.

Staff also provide support to the Civil Service Commission and the Law Enforcement Officers and Fire Fighters Plan – 1 (LEOFF-1) Disability Board. Additionally, Human Resources is the point of contact for complaints regarding Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and Americans with Disabilities Act, as well as Risk Management.
