Online application process

All job openings for us are posted to a third-party, automated, online application portal, GovernmentJobs.com, hosted by NEOGOV. If you are a first-time applicant, you will need to create an account with a username and password. Online applications are stored on a secure site. Only authorized employees and hiring authorities have access to the information submitted.

Current job openings

We only accept applications for positions being actively recruited. You are encouraged to apply even if you don’t meet every single requirement of the position you’re interested in. At the City of Monroe, we are dedicated to building a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace where everyone feels they belong. So, if you’re excited about any of our roles but feel your past experience doesn’t align perfectly with every qualification in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyways. You may be just the right candidate for the role! If you are interested in more than one open position, you’ll need to apply separately.
