NOTICE is hereby given that a DETERMINATION OF NON-SIGNIFICANCE (DNS) SEPA2012-04 has been made by the City of Monroe SEPA Responsible Official for RZ2012-01 – Roosevelt Ridge Proposed Zoning.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The Roosevelt Ridge area consists of approximately 183 acres located within the Monroe Urban Growth Area. The City is proposing to establish zoning regulations that will be effective upon annexation. There are two zoning classifications proposed for this area: generally developed areas will be classified as UR9600-Urban Residential and generally undeveloped areas will be classified as UR6000-Urban Residential.

APPEAL PROCEDURES:
Appeals to the SEPA determination must be submitted to the City Clerk on forms available at City Hall, 806 West Main Street, Monroe by 5:00 p.m. on March 26, 2012. Faxed, mailed, or e-mailed appeals will not be accepted. Appeals must be accompanied by a filing fee set in the Fees Resolution in place at the time the appeal is filed. The SEPA documents are available for review at City Hall Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. For further information, contact the city at (360) 863-4544.
