STORM UPDATE #3: Flood risk decreased for Lake Tye, Fryelands, & US2
(12/11/25; 6:30 p.m.)
Monroe and Snohomish County emergency management officials met this afternoon to discuss potential flooding at Lake Tye, Freylands Blvd. and neighborhood, and US 2 due to water cresting over the levees that are part of the dike system owned and managed by the French Slough Flood Control District. Snohomish County’s evaluation of current rain forecasts and previous flood events indicate the probability of flooding in these areas is now diminished.
