REPUBLIC SERVICES HOSTS FREE GARBAGE DROP OFF EVENT, SAT. JULY 19

Due to the ongoing work stoppage, Republic Services is hosting a free garbage (only) drop-off event for City of Monroe single-family resident (SFR) customers. The event is scheduled for Sat., July 19, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Monroe Municipal Campus, 806 W. Main Street.

City of Monroe SFR Republic Service customers may bring only bagged household trash. Recycled items and compost will not be accepted. Multi-family and commercial customers are currently being served by Republic Services.

Republic Services is contacting residential customers via phone messaging regarding the drop off event. Please visit Republic Services website at https://www.republicservices.com/municipality/monroe-wa for service updates, locations and hours of operations of transfer stations, and other service-related information.

The City of Monroe contracts with Republic Services for waste collection. The majority of Monroe homes and businesses in city limits is serviced by Republic Services. The annexed area of Woodlands is serviced by Waste Management through 2033.
