Governor Chris Gregoire has directed flags at all Washington State agency facilities be lowered to half-staff Wednesday, February 8, 2012, in memory of U. S. Marine Corps Sergeant William C. Stacey, 23, of Seattle, who died January 31, in Afghanistan of injuries sustained from an improvised explosive device.
Flags should remain at half-staff until close of business Wednesday, or first thing Thursday morning, February 9.
Other government entities, citizens and businesses are encouraged to join this recognition.
