TriMonroe is proud to host one of only four national-level Youth Elite and Junior Elite draft-legal racing opportunities in the United States in 2013.
Series Description
The USAT Junior Elite Series is the premiere triathlon race series for athletes 13 to 19 year olds in the United States. Consisting of four national-caliber competitions each spring and summer, the series prepares athletes for draft-legal competition and qualification to US teams competing at international championships. Each event has two competition categories – a Youth Elite Cup and a Junior Elite Cup – in which athletes are grouped by age and gender. Courses are designed to mimic Olympic style racing, with multiple laps and high speed transitions, making races exciting to watch for families, friends, and teammates.
Race Description
The USAT TriMonroe Youth Elite and Junior Elite Cup is the western US event in the USAT Junior Elite Series, a national-caliber competition for teenage triathletes. The event is draft-legal and serves as one of only three qualifiers for the USAT Youth Elite and Junior Elite National Championships.

Qualification for the National Championship
The top 20 finishers at the USAT TriMonroe Youth Elite and Junior Elite Cup will earn the opportunity to compete at the USAT Youth Elite and Junior Elite National Championships in West Chester, Ohio, on August 3-4, 2013.
