Water Hydrant Flushing Starts - March 2024
The City of Monroe has begun our annual water hydrant flushing. This process is designed to scour water mains of sediment and mineral build up throughout the system, as well as verify proper operation of the valves and hydrants.
As a result of flushing, you may experience short-term, minimal inconveniences such as fluctuating water pressure, air in the lines, or cloudy water.
