ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE: Fryelands Blvd. will be closed between Tye Street and Currie Road on Saturday, July 16th from 6:30am - 3:00pm for Monroe’s annual TriMonroe event. A detour will be provided. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
Also, there will be no Music in the Park tonight, Friday, July 15 at Lake Tye Park. The free concerts will resume next Friday, July 22 with Soul Searching Band and the last concert of the season on July 29 featuring Hair Nation. The TriMonroe Triathlon event course and transition areas are being set up in the park on Friday, July 15, including portions of parking lots within the north half of the park.
Finish Strong Events LLC’s Trimonroe returns to Monroe's Lake Tye Park on July 16th for its 10th time. This USAT Elite Youth and Junior Cup event is also a West Coast qualifier. Junior athletes from countries all over the world come to Lake Tye to compete. It’s an amazing experience to witness this level of athleticism.
