[ARCHIVED] Search Warrant Served on Residence


MONROE – December 6, 2019: At 6:00 am this morning; the Monroe Police Department with the assistance of the North Sound Metro SWAT team executed a search warrant on a residence in the 20500 block of Horizon Way in Monroe. Upon arrival, the five occupants in the house were not immediately cooperative. SWAT remained on scene until the occupants were detained or taken into custody. Detectives searched the residence for evidence of fired weapons, spent ammunition and bullet fragments. Found in the residence were multiple shell casings and bullet fragments that were primarily located in the crawl space of the house.

A 30-year-old male from Monroe was booked into the Snohomish County Jail on Assault 2 and Unlawful Imprisonment charges. A 40-year-old male from Monroe was booked on an outstanding warrant. The other occupants a 35-year-old male, 34-year-old female, and 24-year-old male from Monroe were released at the scene. Obstruction of Justice charges are pending on all five occupants.
