[ARCHIVED] Flood Warning

CAUTION. We are expecting the Woods Creek and the Skykomish River to flood low lying areas of a couple City parks today. Parks with potential flooding impacts include: Al Borlin Park, Lewis Street Park, and Sky River Park. Please be careful around flooded areas and do not enter areas that are closed to the public.

From Snohomish County Emergency Management on Feb. 15th: "... there is a flood warning for Snohomish County for the Skykomish River near Gold Bar. Based on current projections from the National Weather Service, the Snohomish River and Stillaguamish River will also go into minor, and possibly close to moderate, flood stage, later today and into tomorrow."
