[ARCHIVED] Flag Lowering

Patriot Day is a day in which we show our respect for those who lost their lives as well as honor the brave men and women who were injured on September 11th, 2001.

Flags are to be flown at half-staff on all buildings, grounds, by all people of the United States, and naval vessels throughout the United States, and in all areas under its jurisdiction and control on Friday, September 11th, 2015 from dawn until dusk.

Many people observe a moment of silence at 8:46 AM (Eastern Daylight Time) which marks the time that the first plane flew into the World Trade Center.
