November is Native American Heritage Month. This month invites us to reflect on and celebrate the histories, languages, cultures, and traditions of indigenous communities across our region. Also this week, Monroe celebrates Kindness Week, an opportunity to show Monroe’s strength through compassion as we continue to strive towards Imagine Monroe: creating a safe place for all where everyone feels at home and everyone feels they belong. You can read more on both proclamations by reading this week’s edition of Monroe This Week.
