The Life Jacket Cabinet is now open at Lake Tye through Labor Day weekend. Snohomish Regional Fire & Rescue is proud to partner with Safe Kids of Snohomish County and the city for the life jacket cabinet at Lake Tye. Life jackets save lives! If you need a life jacket to wear when swimming at Lake Tye, grab one and return it to the cabinet when you are finished so another person can use it.
SRFR also has a life jacket loaner program at Station 31 located at 163 Village Court. If you need to borrow one for the weekend to use in our area waterways or pools, come to Station 31 and get fitted for a life jacket at no cost!
Please know that although the weather may be warm, the water is not. Cold water can be very dangerous even for those that are very comfortable in the water. Please check water temperatures before you enjoy our outdoor waterways this summer.
