[ARCHIVED] Two Arrests, Additional Search Warrants

The Monroe Police Department with the assistance of the North Sound Metro Swat Team executed a weapons related search warrant on a residence in the 16000 block of Burn Road, Arlington this morning. Additional search warrants were obtained for stolen property and drug paraphernalia. The Snohomish County Auto Theft Task Force (SNOCAT) assisted with a search warrant for multiple vehicles and vehicle parts that were on the property.
A handgun was seized from the residence. Also seized were coins, a ballistic helmet, body armor and gun boxes all believed to be stolen property. Methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia were also found at the scene.
Of the eight people found at the residence, two were transported to the Snohomish County Jail for Booking. A 38 year-old male of Snohomish was booked on a felony warrant for Malicious Mischief 2nd Degree and two additional misdemeanor warrants. A 40 year-old male of Arlington was booked on Unlawful Possession of Firearm. Additional charges are pending.
