Scenes for a TV pilot are scheduled to be filmed here in Monroe on Monday, September 29. A film company is producing a TV pilot for a show titled "The Man in the High Castle", that will be aired in early 2015 on Amazon Prime streaming service.

The filming here will center around the Lewis Street bridge, with it being transformed into a border checkpoint by using various props and the magic of movie Visual FX.

On Monday, September 29, between the hours of 9:00am to 2:00pm, there will be intermittent traffic control stops of a maximum duration of 10 minutes on SR 203 at the Lewis Street bridge. The parking lot area south of the restrooms at Lewis Street Park will be closed from 7:00am to 3:00pm that day as well. The Lewis Street boat launch will remain open that day, provided vehicles shall only exit west through the Sky River Park parking lot. A staging area for the film crew will be provided within the south gravel parking lot at Sky River Park. Sky River Park will remain open for public use that day.

Any and all filming will stop for emergency vehicle access through SR 203.
