How You Can Help

• Serve on the Community Human Services Advisory Board (CHSAB): Check the CHSAB webpage to learn more on its role and to find out if there are vacancies.
• Get involved with our Comprehensive Plan Update: Share your vision and ideas on how Monroe can best address housing and other issues. Visit Monroe2044.com to learn more.
• Volunteer for a local community-based organization: Share your talent and time with an agency that supports vulnerable and marginalized communities. View some opportunities in this flyer.
• Donate: Whether you donate as a person, family, or business, you can provide monetary support or give items (e.g. clothing, food, furniture). Reach out to a local agency that most interests you. Some are listed in our Community Resource and Support Guide

How you can help doesn’t and shouldn’t stop at Monroe city limits. Advocate for change by contacting your local, state, and federal legislators who make decisions that address systemic human service issues.
