Youth Activities Building Improvements

Project Description

The youth activities building has been leased to the Monroe branch of the Snohomish County Boys & Girls Club since it opened in the 1990's.  Building improvements listed below are expected to cost approximately $1.6 million and are funded through grants provided by Snohomish County and the Washington State Department of Commerce to the City of Monroe.

  • Construction of a ~2,100 square foot early childhood learning and assistance center 
  • Refurbishment of the interior of the gymnasium 
  • Replacement of the gymnasium roof
  • Refurbishment of restroom facilities
  • Upgrading information technology systems
  • Parking lot accessibility/ADA ramp improvements
  • HVAC system refurbishments and upgrades
