Madison Sewer Separation
This project will remove the storm water runoff from entering the sanitary sewer system by collecting, treating and infiltrating the runoff. It is proposed to use Filterra Systems to treat the runoff prior to infiltration and install permeable sidewalks to reduce the runoff to the infiltration basin. In conjunction with this work, the City will replace an old 4" water main and reconstruct the street to eliminate the excessive crown from past overlay projects.
The City is reaching out to the residents along North Madison for their input on the preferred layout for the Madison Combined Sewer Separation Project. Staff is currently preparing a response method using SurveyMonkey to allow citizens to provide input. Drawings are available for preview here:
A link will be provided to the survey once it has been vetted by Staff. The City will also send out postcards to owners and place informational hangers on resident doors once the survey is ready with a response deadline and link to this page.
