A Message from the Police Chief

It is with great pride that I serve the citizens of Monroe and employees of the Monroe Police Department as your Chief of Police. We are all very proud of the community we live in, and strive to maintain a safe environment for our citizens to work, play and raise families.

It is my pleasure to present to you the 2013 Year End Report which showcases our department and highlights significant events that have occurred during the past year.

We are most fortunate to have such quality, educated and dedicated personnel that take a high degree of pride in providing the best service possible to our citizens. I was privileged to be able to present the 2013 Employee Awards to members of our department at one of the recent city council meetings.  Our Police Department is an accredited agency that is committed to maintaining the highest standards of professional ethics and personal integrity.

I encourage you to use this website to clearly understand what police services are available such as requesting police reports, online reporting, obtaining pet licenses and fingerprinting services.  Some of the questions that our front desk staff are frequently asked are about traffic infractions which you can learn more about here. This website is intended to help you learn about our department and its services, to provide information that can keep you safer at home and about town, and to provide opportunities for community feedback on how we can serve you better.

Thank you for your continuing support of the Monroe Police Department. With the ongoing commitment and partnership of our city’s residents and business owners, we can provide the quality policing services you deserve.

                                                                Chief Tim Quenzer
