Graden Water Main

Project Description

The City will be replacing aging water main pipe in a residential neighborhood off of Ingraham Road, which contains 133rd Street, 134th Street, 208th Avenue, 209th Avenue and 210th Avenue. Located in Snohomish County but within the City's water service area, the project will install approximately 3,000 feet of new ductile iron water main, connect the existing residential services to the new system, and upgrade the existing fire hydrants in the neighborhood.

The Design & Construction Division of Monroe Public Works will be administering the project, and has contracted with Harmsen & Associates Inc. of Monroe to develop the design documents. City staff will coordinate with Snohomish County Public Works to obtain necessary permitting ahead of the actual construction activity. Staff will also be sharing information with the adjacent property owners and providing the neighborhood with an opportunity to offer input and get questions answered. The design effort will be ongoing throughout 2018, with the construction planned for early 2019.
