Overweight ParkinG Permit

The Monroe Municipal Code, Section 10.24.040, generally prohibits the operation of vehicles weighing more than 15,000 pounds from driving on streets not designated as truck routes. However, the code does provide for the ability of drivers or owners of trucks to obtain a permit to park on their property or on the street in front of their property.  Motor vehicles with a valid Overweight Parking Permit that travel to and from any permitted parking site shall not be more than a minimum distance necessary from approved truck routes.
